IT’S A LIFESTYLE.
Preventative dentistry is a type of dental care that focuses on preventing dental problems and maintaining good oral health. This can be achieved through regular check-ups, cleanings, and at-home care. Here are some specific ways that preventative dentistry can help maintain good oral health:
Visiting the dentist every six months allows the dentist to check for any issues that may not be visible or apparent to the patient. This includes checking for tooth decay, gum disease, and other problems.
A professional cleaning by a dental hygienist can remove plaque and tartar that have accumulated on the teeth, which can cause tooth decay and gum disease.
Good at-home oral hygiene, including brushing and flossing daily, can help prevent plaque build-up and maintain good oral health.
Preventative care can help maintain the appearance of the teeth and mouth, leading to a more attractive and confident smile.
