WHAT ARE VENEERS?

When you think of braces, traditional metal braces might be what you imagine. Metal braces use brackets and wires to gently shift your teeth over time.

Each bracket is carefully bonded (glued) on each tooth and then a wire is placed into each bracket slot. Over time, they gradually realign teeth into a more ideal position, and brief tightening appointments are done about every two months. Patients may experience some tenderness after their new braces are attached, but this usually stops after a few days. You can decorate your braces with any colour you wish and change it at every appointment.

INVISALIGN®

HOW DOES INVISALIGN® ORTHODONTIC TREATMENT WORK?

Using advanced 3D computer-imaging technology to create a digital model of your teeth, we will create a plan that will ultimately lead to your perfect smile. You will receive a series of aligners and will be asked to wear each set for about 7-14 days, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss.

As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will gradually move until they have straightened to their final position. You will visit us about once every 3 months to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned.

HOW CAN EDITION HELP?
